Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 53-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rio Rancho upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Los Alamos lost 43-21 in their recent non-league bout against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Eldorado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 42-39 non-league win over West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
