The Bandys Trojans basketball team scored 28 points and held the host Newton-Conover Red Devils to 17 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Caldwell for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Bandys will battle a Warriors team coming off a 33-19 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.
The Red Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
