Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC), 53-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Union Grove Christian upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC) to play the Ram in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Ram come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Tabernacle Christian won 19-13 in their recent league bout against Rockwell Christian School (Rockwell, NC)

Next up, the Cougar play the Fayetteville Street Christian Patriots (Asheboro, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, January 12. Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Union Grove Christian (Lexington, NC).
