The Frederick Golden Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Riverdale Ridge Ravens to 27 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Niwot for a contest on Thursday, January 12. Frederick will battle a Cougars team coming off a 46-13 non-league loss to Thompson Valley (Loveland, CO). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.

The Ravens (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Greeley, CO). The Grizzlies enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
