With the victory, Freedom improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Patriots host Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Ashe County lost 25-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC)

Next up, the Spartans play the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. South Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 34-23 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC).
