North Carolina High School Basketball - Laney ripped by Hoggard

The Hoggard Vikings basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting Laney Buccaneers to 12 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hanover for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Hoggard will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 29-23 non-league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
The Buccaneers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Topsail triumphed over Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 33-23, in a non-league contest.
