In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Houghton Gremlins ice hockey team scored a tight 4-2 win over the Catholic Central Shamrocks.
The Gremlins (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Brother Rice by St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI), 4-1, in a non-league test.
Next up, the Shamrocks encounter the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 26. Catholic Central will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record.
