North Carolina High School Basketball - Bartlett Yancey can't hold off Cummings

The Cummings Cavaliers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers to 45 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Moore for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Cummings will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 59-8 non-league win over Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
The Buccaneers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Chatham Central was nudged by Cummings (Burlington, NC), 73-29, in a non-league contest.
