With the victory, Ben L. Smith upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to play the Rams in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Northeast Guilford won 55-25 in their recent non-league bout against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Eastern Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 50-26 league loss to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
