The Turner Ashby Knights basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Broadway Gobblers to 26 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrisonburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Turner Ashby will battle a Blue Streaks team coming off a 41-39 non-league win over Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-3.
The Gobblers (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Fort Defiance prevailed over Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 41-32, in a non-league contest.
