The Calipatria Hornets basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Imperial Tigers to 31 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holtville for a contest on Friday, January 13. Calipatria will meet a Vikings team coming off a 62-22 league loss to Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA). The Scots enter the contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Vincent Memorial ran past Southwest EC (El Centro, CA), 50-40, in a non-league contest.
