The Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC) basketball felled the visiting Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), 45-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their test against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, North Edgecombe was beaten by Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC), 61-46, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they host South Granville for a test on Wednesday, January 11. Carrboro will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 7-5.
