Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Redlands East Valley Wildcats (Redlands, CA), 56-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Citrus Valley upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a bout on Thursday, January 12. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Yucaipa won 56-43 in their recent league bout against Cajon (San Bernardino, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Redlands Terriers (Redlands, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, January 12. Redlands East Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Terriers come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 63-24 league loss to Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA).
