The Council Cobras basketball team (Council, VA), was nudged 38-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Twin Valley Panthers (Pilgrims Knob, VA)
The Panthers now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rye Cove for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Twin Valley will confront a Eagles team coming off a 28-24 non-league loss to Eastside (Coeburn, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
The Cobras (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Honaker (Honaker, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Honaker was nudged by Lebanon (Lebanon, VA), 37-27, in a non-league battle.
