The Lake Minneola Hawks basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host East Ridge Knights to 36 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Florida Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Lake Minneola will battle a Eagles team coming off a 72-38 non-league win over Cocoa (Cocoa, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.
The Knights (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL). The Hurricanes come into the contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Mount Dora topped Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL), 40-25, in a non-league bout.
