Family Christian Academy Lions (Orlando, FL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Eastland Christian Hurricanes (Orlando, FL), 24-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Family Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions host North Kissimmee Christian (Kissimmee, FL) to play the Lions in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-0. North Kissimmee Christian won 57-16 in their recent league bout against Heritage Prep (Orlando, FL)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Heritage Prep Praetorians (Orlando, FL) in a bout, on Monday, January 23. Eastland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
