Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 40-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Providence upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-1. East Mecklenburg won 40-25 in their recent league bout against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Rocky River CMS Athletics (Mint Hill, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Garinger will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record.
