Virginia High School Basketball - Patrick County knocked off by George Washington

The George Washington Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Patrick County Cougars to 47 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bassett for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13.

The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Floyd County was defeated by Radford (Radford, VA), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
