Highland Huskies (Highland, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mount Academy Eagles (Esopus, NY), 46-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Huskies host Onteora (Boiceville, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Onteora won 40-34 in their recent non-league bout against Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Millbrook Blazers (Millbrook, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Mount Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
