California High School Basketball - Morse can't hold off La Jolla

The La Jolla Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Morse Tigers to 45 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a contest on Friday, January 13. La Jolla will battle a Hornets team coming off a 56-52 non-league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-6.
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots enter the contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Christian was nudged by Point Loma (San Diego, CA), 48-37, in a league contest.
