Virginia High School Basketball - Northside nudges Lord Botetourt

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), by a margin of 57-51.

The Vikings (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Staunton River was edged by Fleming (Roanoke, VA), 31-28, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Lord Botetourt will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Colonels come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 31-28 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
