The Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) basketball crushed the host Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC), 80-46 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Currituck County (Barco, NC). The Knights go into the test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Currituck County was trounced by Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC), 49-30, in a league test.
The Redskins now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hertford County for a non-league test on Friday, January 13.
