The Weldon Chargers basketball team (Weldon, NC), was nudged 54-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Northwest Halifax will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-46 non-league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
