The Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) basketball crushed the host Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA), 67-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pioneers (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA). The Wolves go into the test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Flintridge Prep walloped Price (Los Angeles, CA), 57-48, in a non-league test.
The Kares now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host The Webb Schools for a non-league test on Friday, January 20.
