The Smoky Mountain Mustangs basketball team (Sylva, NC), dropped 60-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC)
The Mountaineers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Henderson for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 12. Tuscola will battle a Falcons team coming off a 38-26 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 7-7.
The Mustangs (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, East Henderson prevailed over Pisgah (Canton, NC), 58-55, in a league battle.
