North Carolina High School Basketball - South Granville thwarts Vance County

The South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC), 58-48 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Jaguars go into the test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Carrboro went down by Granville Central (Stem, NC), 45-34, in a non-league test.

The Vipers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Durham for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Vance County will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 68-31 non-league win over J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
