North Carolina High School Basketball - West Lincoln can't hold off West Caldwell

January 10, 2023: Lincolnton, NC 28092

The West Caldwell Warriors basketball team scored 41 points and held the host West Lincoln Rebels to 39 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bandys for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. West Caldwell will battle a Trojans team coming off a 53-52 league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 9-3.

The Rebels (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, East Burke nudged Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 49-37, in a non-league contest.
