With the victory, Union Academy improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC) to confront the Knights in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley challenge on Friday, January 12. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. Gray Stone Day lost 63-17 in their recent league challenge against North Stanly (New London, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley challenge, on Friday, January 12. Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 66-24 league win over Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC).
