With the victory, Sun Valley Magnet upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA) to play the Cougars in a Central Valley bout on Friday, January 12. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Lake Balboa College Prep lost 55-18 in their recent non-league bout against Neuwirth Leadership Academy (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Griffins play the Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Warriors (Reseda, CA) in a Central Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
