The Forreston Cardinals basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Amboy Clippers to 32 in the Cardinals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richmond-Burton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Forreston will meet a Rockets team coming off a 54-45 league win over Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 9-4.

The Clippers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Stockton (Stockton, IL). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-9 record.
