The Beaufort Academy Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks to 38 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry Academy for a SCISA AA Region II contest on Thursday, January 11. Beaufort Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 76-72 non-league win over Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-3.

The War Hawks (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA). The come into the SCISA AA Region II contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Bethesda Academy prevailed over Thomas Heyward Academy (Ridgeland, SC), 70-41, in a league contest.
