The Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, MI), 70-41 in Wednesday's league test.
The Huskies (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI). The Northmen go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Petoskey was trounced by Traverse City West (Traverse City, MI), 49-47, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kingsley for a Northwest test on Friday, January 12. Frankfort will encounter a Stags squad coming off a 58-56 league loss to Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Stags record now stands at 4-5.
