Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bethel Bison (Spanaway, WA), 60-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Olympia upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Tahoma (Maple Valley, WA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Bison play the Rogers Rams (Puyallup, WA) in a 4A South Puget Sound - South bout, on Friday, January 12. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 69-59 league loss to Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA).
