Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Danville Bears (Danville, VT) and the visiting Blue Mountain Bucks (Wells River, VT), saw Danville's basketball team triumph over Blue Mountain by a score of 63-26.
The Bears now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williamstown for a Mountain contest on Friday, January 12. Danville will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 75-25 league win over Northfield (Northfield, VT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-3.
The Bucks (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Craftsbury Academy (Craftsbury Common, VT). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Craftsbury Academy was routed by Twinfield (Plainfield, VT), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
