In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), by a margin of 64-54.

The Farmers (8-7) will now prepare for their outing against Bushnell-Prairie City (Bushnell, IL). The Spartans go into the Prairieland outing with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Bushnell-Prairie City defeated Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL), 51-37, in a league outing.

The Little Giants now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Limestone for a Mid-Illini outing on Friday, January 12. Canton will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 78-38 non-league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 2-12.
