The Carroll County Cavaliers basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Floyd County Buffaloes to 55 in the Cavaliers league victory on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick County for a Three Rivers contest on Friday, January 12. Carroll County will battle a Cougars team coming off a 68-32 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-10.

The Buffaloes (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders come into the Three Rivers contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Glenvar prevailed over Radford (Radford, VA), 66-50, in a league contest.
