The Charles O. Dickerson Blue Raiders basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Newark Valley Cardinals to 47 in the Blue Raiders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Blue Raiders now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitney Point for a Section 4 Interscholastic - North Large contest on Friday, January 12. Charles O. Dickerson will meet a Eagles team coming off a 47-46 non-league win over Chenango Valley (Binghamton, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.

The Cardinals (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Dryden (Dryden, NY). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Dryden triumphed over Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY), 63-53, in a non-league contest.
