The Diamond Ranch Panthers (Pomona, CA) basketball knocked off the host Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA), 49-40 in Wednesday's league test.
The Panthers (13-6) will now prepare for their test against West Covina (West Covina, CA). The Bulldogs go into the Valle Vista test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, West Covina went down by San Dimas (San Dimas, CA), 62-43, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Covina for a Valle Vista test on Friday, January 12. Charter Oak will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 58-46 league loss to Northview (Covina, CA). The Colts record now stands at 14-6.
