Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Clarion Wolves (Tionesta, PA), 79-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clarion Area upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to play the Gremlins in a Keystone Shortway bout on Friday, January 12. The Gremlins come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Karns City won 64-48 in their recent league bout against Union (Rimersburg, PA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Keystone Panthers (Knox, PA) in a Keystone Shortway bout, on Friday, January 12. North Clarion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 68-43 league loss to Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA).
