The Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) basketball crushed the host Clinton River Kings (Clinton, IA), 65-32 in Wednesday's league test.

The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Muscatine (Muscatine, IA). The Muskies go into the Mississippi test with a 2-7 record.

The River Kings now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Central DeWitt for a non-league test on Friday, January 12.
