The Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) basketball knocked off the host Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), 68-48 in Wednesday's league test.
The Blue Devils (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI). The Titans go into the Macomb Area - Red test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Sterling Heights Stevenson went down by Roseville (Roseville, MI), 52-47, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to L'Anse Creuse North for a Macomb Area - Red test on Friday, January 12. Dakota will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 49-40 league loss to Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-4.
