Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Eisenhower Eagles (Houston, TX), 51-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Dekaney upgrades its record to 13-13 on the season. The Wildcats travel to MacArthur (Houston, TX) to clash with the Generals in a 6A Region II District 14 bout on Saturday, January 13. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 3-20. MacArthur lost 83-48 in their recent league bout against Westfield (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 bout, on Saturday, January 13. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 83-48 league win over MacArthur (Houston, TX).
