With the victory, Patton improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to confront the Hilltoppers in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge on Friday, January 12. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. R-S Central won 70-47 in their recent league challenge against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge, on Friday, January 12. East Rutherford will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 86-34 league win over Chase (Forest City, NC).
