The Wilson Magnet Wildcats basketball team (Rochester, NY), was toppled 72-53 in Wednesday's league battle with the host East Eagles (Rochester, NY)
The Eagles now possess a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host McQuaid Jesuit for a Section 5 Rochester City - Upper battle on Friday, January 12. East will confront a Knights team coming off a 80-68 non-league loss to Edison Tech (Rochester, NY). The Knights record now stands at 3-7.
The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Franklin (Rochester, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 5 Rochester City - Upper battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Franklin was toppled by Fairport (Fairport, NY), 75-43, in a non-league battle.
