El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting West Warriors (Torrance, CA), 47-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, El Segundo upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to play the Wolves in a Pioneer bout on Friday, January 12. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 16-4. Wiseburn- Da Vinci won 68-66 in their recent league bout against North (Torrance, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a Pioneer bout, on Friday, January 12. West will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Saxons come into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 68-66 league loss to Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA).
