The Fairfield Falcons routed the visiting Fremont Eagles basketball team by a final score of 49-28 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the Westview Warriors (Topeka, IN) in a Northeast Corner contest, on Thursday, January 11. Fairfield will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 74-61 non-league win over Lakeland (LaGrange, IN).

The Eagles (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Noble (Ligonier, IN). The Chargers come into the Northeast Corner contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, West Noble triumphed over Churubusco (Churubusco, IN), 65-55, in a league contest.
