Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Forest Lake Rangers (Forest Lake, MN), 63-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mounds View upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Woodbury (Woodbury, MN) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Woodbury lost 73-49 in their recent league bout against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)

Next up, the Rangers play the Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Forest Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 85-32 league loss to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN).
