The Gaffney Indians topped the visiting Hillcrest Rams basketball team by a final score of 87-71 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Indians face the Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 game, on Friday, January 12. Gaffney will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 11-6 record after their 84-62 league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC).
