In Wednesday's league outing, the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA), by a count of 69-57.

The Hilltoppers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Lynchburg, VA). The Pioneers go into the Seminole outing with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Heritage knocked off Staunton (Staunton, VA), 54-51, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Liberty Christian moves to 4-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Bees in a Seminole match on Friday, January 12. The Bees enter the match with a record of 2-9. Brookville lost 49-39 in their recent league match against Amherst County (Amherst, VA)
