The Granby Comets basketball team (Norfolk, VA), was toppled 67-54 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA)
The Greyhounds now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maury for a Eastern battle on Friday, January 12. Norcom will confront a Commodores team coming off a 50-35 league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Commodores record now stands at 9-3.
The Comets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Bookers come into the Eastern battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Booker T. Washington was toppled by Norview (Norfolk, VA), 61-49, in a league battle.
